Dr. Court spent most of her life on the East coast before moving to Summit County, Colorado with her husband in 2001.  Denisa lives in Breckenridge with her husband, two sons, two leopard geckos, fish, and yellow Labrador Retriever.  She truly enjoys her profession.  Being a veterinarian enables her to improve the overall health and quality of life of our animal companions and enrich the lives of their human families.

Denisa decided in elementary school that she wanted to be a veterinarian and began volunteering and working in animal hospitals when she was ten years old.  In 1998, she accomplished her dream when she graduated from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.  Denisa completed further training in medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine during a year long internship at a large referral hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.  Dr. Court has special interests in ophthalmology, behavior, and internal medicine.

Dr. Court's commitment to her continued education, compassion for pets and their families, and desire to practice the best medicine have enabled her to provide companion animals with superior healthcare during her twenty years of practice.  Dr. Court is very excited about owning Farmers Korner Veterinary Hospital and being able to continue helping pets and their families in Summit County.

Dr. Richman loves being a part of the Farmer's Korner team!  She is a Denver native, growing up in Applewood on the west side of town.  Like Dr. Court, Dr. Richman decided she wanted to be a veterinarian at a very young age.  Starting as a 5 year old, she attempted to save every injured creature that happened into her back yard, much to her parent's chagrin.

Dr. Richman graduated from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.   After graduation, she completed a year long internship in surgery, internal medicine, general practice, and emergency medicine at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital.  In her professional career, Dr. Richman spent several years working full time in emergency medicine/surgery and then at a general practice before joining FKVH in June of 2014.

In the vast field of veterinary medicine, Dr. Richman has special interests in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care medicine, and diagnostic imaging.  Outside of work, Dr. Richman is an avid downhill skier and road cyclist, and she is a fledgeling mountain biker.  She spends her free time with her husband Patrick, her son, a Labradoodle named Fennel, and a small flock of backyard chickens.

Karin is originally from Portsmouth, N.H. but grew up just north of Boston.  She knew at an early age that she would be happiest working with animals and began her studies in animal science.  She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Pre-Veterinary Medicine.

She has mostly worked with horses, but decided she wanted to expand her animal experience.  In 2006, she began working for a small animal hospital (with Dr. Court!) and is happy to be working at Farmers Korner Veterinary Hospital.

She moved to Summit County in 1995 to pursue her love of the mountains.  She enjoys anything outdoors, especially skiing, hiking and camping.  She loves her four-legged friends of all kinds and competes in the equestrian disciplines of Dressage and 3-Day Eventing.

Pam was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, but after visiting Colorado as a teenager, she knew this was the place she wanted to live. Originally a teacher by profession, her work with children led her to a job at Keystone Resort. She worked at the daycare there for many years. That job grew into running the front desk at the daycare. When it was time to move on the increasing pull to work with animals led her to another kind of front desk, at a veterinary hospital. It was there she first met Dr. Denisa Court. She is very happy to be reunited with Dr. Court and provide the best customer care to the clients and pets at Farmers Korner Veterinary Hospital. The pull to be with animals has also led her to rescue several and she currently lives in Georgetown with dogs Kip and Nala, four cats and three parrots. She enjoys taking many walks with her dogs and when able gets a little crafty.
